Letters speak.

There are people, there are letters, and there are designs.

From ancient days, people have conveyed knowledge and thoughts they obtained to others by uttering words and using letters.
Especially letters have been developed as a means to convey information beyond time and place.
Letters, which are used to be inscribed in stones and written on woods, have become printed using wood blocks and metal types, then photocomposition, and now digital fonts using DTP systems are broadly utilized.
The shape of letters has been changed as being affected by change of technologies and media for a long period of time.

Even though the time has been changed and media has been changed, there is no change in the goal “to convey a message to somebody” and the fact that there is a “sender” and a “receiver”. Then, how can we surely send a message to the person we want to convey it in an image that we desire?
The important point is the way to use letters. Among other things, letters on printed matters which are read by many people must be “easy-to-read” and “beautiful”. It is an unchanged essence in all ages.
To meet these requirements, there is a need to change the font and format in accordance with the nature of the message, receiver, and location where the message is read. In this way, if you can handle letters freely, flexible communication using letters becomes available.

People have been informed the knowledge and ideas to the others by speaking languages, using letters since early times. Especially letters have been expanded as methods of communication beyond time and place.
